TweetBeing an entrepreneur can be quite stressful at times, especially when you are starting out. Your resources are limited and you find yourself being a jack of all trades, but master of none. That’s just one trait of being an entrepreneur. When I first started my entrepreneurial career, I was riding off of my corporate experience and mistakes I’d made with other small side projects.
Unfortunately, that will only take you so far and that’s when you begin to wish that you had someone’s brain to pick; someone who’s done it before and can shed some light on your situation. “As a professional geek I used to work in a reasonably fun job doing what I liked to do (write code). Eventually, I got a little frustrated with it all so at the ripe old age of 24, I started my first software company. It did pretty well. It got a bunch of awards, attracted a bunch of smart people, reached millions of dollars of sales and was ultimately sold for millions of more dollars to a much larger technology company. Since then, I’ve started more companies, invested in a few and advised a few more.”
