On July 23, 2010, Afoot Magazine will be unveiling their next covergirl at an event being held at Canvas Lounge. Hosted by Niki of A Haute Mess, guests will enjoy music, champagne and chocolate treats. Tickets can be purchased either in person at #403 – 68 Water St in Gastown or online at Clubzone. AFOOT MAGAZINE PRESENTS – WINNER OF AFOOT’S NEXT COVERGIRL @ CANVAS LOUNGE!

“Fashion Industry people, media folk, Vancouver’s most infamous bloggers and many more are all coming to an event held by Afoot Magazine in order to determine the winner of the magazine’s next cover girl, as well as getting the chance to mix and mingle with the city’s finest.”

Vancouver, British Columbia June 23, 2010 - – Afoot magazine is throwing an event in order to announce the winner of the casting call that they had April 9th, 2010 to determined their next cover girl. The CoverGirls event will take place on July 23rd, 2010 at Canvas Lounge in Gastown and will be hosted by Niki Blasina from “A Haute Mess”. The event will commence at 9pm and will go on until closing hours.

Afoot Magazine is a locally bred lifestyle magazine that is experiencing great success by covering the most exciting events in town while featuring some big names from the music and fashion industry from all over the world. Afoot has been holding some greatly successful events recently and this event is promised to be no different. Afoot believes in representing cultural movement and progression in the city of Vancouver & Internationally and this will be another way to do just that.

The event will give Afoot the chance to announce their next cover girl while bringing local industry people together in order to network and become more familiar with the magazine and its endeavours. It will be a fun-filled evening where Vancouver’s most infamous bloggers, local fashion industry folk, influential members of the media and numerous other special guests will be mingling, sipping on champagne and indulging in chocolate.

There will be enticing music, champagne, delicious treats from some major chocolatiers, a live photography feed that will be on site featured on a projector, and Niki Blasina from “A Haute Mess” as the host for the evening.
